What clothes will a resale service not take, and why?
Very Minted does not take anything with stains, rips or marks, fast fashion, unbranded pieces, underwear, children’s clothing, suits or wedding dresses. Marked clothing and fast fashion resell for less than it costs to sort, photograph, list and post them, and the rest are things we do not resell at all.
What we cannot take, and the reason

What we do take
- Adult clothing, shoes, handbags and fashion accessories.
- High-street brands that are new with tags or like new, and premium and designer pieces with gentle wear.
- Designer jewellery and hallmarked precious-metal jewellery, and designer watches, which are always valued one by one and never bought by weight.
- If more than half of a load fails the standards, none of it is bought, so it is worth sorting before you send photos.
