No stains, rips or marks — on anything
No underwear
No fast-fashion or marketplace brands — nothing from SHEIN, Temu, Romwe or similar, and nothing unbranded
If more than half of what I send fails these standards, none of it is bought — nothing is paid, and no collection charge is made

I’ve read the Sell with Very Minted terms, and I own — or have the authority to sell — everything I’m sending.

We read every one ourselves and reply within a couple of days.

The money

Sell to Us — £1 per kg of accepted goods

Payment is on the weight we accept, not the total you hand over. Any adjustment — say for a piece that needs light preparation before resale — is shown on your assessment before you accept it, never after.

Sell for Me — your share of each sale

Sells for £50–£249.99you keep 50%

Sells for £250–£999.99you keep 60%

Sells for £1,000+you keep 70%

A piece that sells for £65 pays you £32.50.

A piece that sells for £300 pays you £180.

A piece that sells for £1,200 pays you £840.

Ordinary postage and packaging come out of our share, not yours. Your assessment shows an estimated selling range for each piece — the lower figure is your protected minimum, and we never sell below it without asking you first.

Pieces are sold through our own eBay shop, Very Minted Preloved, so you can see how they are photographed, described and priced before you send anything.

The questions worth asking first

What happens to anything you can’t accept?

You choose before anything is sent: collect it back from us, have it posted back at your cost, or have us donate wearable pieces and send the rest for textile recycling. Nothing of yours is ever quietly binned.

How long do Sell for Me pieces stay on sale?

Up to 12 months. We manage the price along the way — never below your agreed minimum — and at the end anything unsold comes back to you, gets extended, or is donated: your choice. If you want a piece back mid-way after accepting the assessment, that’s a £25 per-item withdrawal fee, and it comes off sale within 48 hours.

What if I don’t like the offer?

Then don’t accept it — nothing transfers to us until you do. Collect the goods or pay the return postage, and no hard feelings.

What about fakes?

We never knowingly list or sell counterfeit goods. Luxury pieces may need evidence — a receipt, serial numbers, original packaging — or professional authentication, which we’ll discuss with you before any cost is incurred.

Where are you?

We’re based in Luton. We collect across Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, including Harpenden, St Albans, Tring and Berkhamsted, and from London. You can also drop off with us in Luton. The £1 a kilo service is collection or drop off only. It is not available by post.

Sell for other people

You’re already good at this. We’re building a programme that sends approved Very Minted resellers paid work — a wardrobe, a clearance, a shop’s overflow — with the split agreed before you accept anything. Put your name down and we’ll email you when it opens.
